The team draws on a wealth of experience in the outdoors to create a dynamic and functional unit. From icy winds of mountain plateaus to the dense humid unexplored jungle a vast experience of travel and exploration will equip the team for the challenges posed by this expedition. To complement technical expertise a variety of other skills exist within the team including a significant amount of medical training and a good amount of mechanical knowledge. The following is a brief outline of the team members’ background. All members of the expedition are studying BA (Honours) Outdoor Leadership at the Penrith campus, University of Cumbria. The expedition will go towards the degree and a major mile stone in their progression towards their ultimate goals.
