Not-For-Profit Expedition

This is a Not-for-Profit expedition therefore any amount of surplus money received from pre/post-expedition income will be donated to charity. This figure would include everything from bank account interest to payment from post expedition articles. In other words it is possible that the teams’ aim for £2000 to each chosen charity could be exceeded. To raise the £2000 needed for charity the team intends to run several fundraising events and provide any deficit to the £2000 mark through employment.

Expedition contact

At set destinations the team will be taking time to make contact with key sponsors and various media organisations. Any internet access that can be found in the more urban areas will be utilised to send details to those organisations mentioned. This could easily be in the form of video clips, articles, photographs or sound bites etc. The expedition website will also be regularly updated using blogs, video link and photographs. Companies who have donated equipment for the expedition will receive photographs of the equipment being used and a report on how the equipment performed should they wish.
